Weighing in at a highly manageable 2kg, the Ranger 2 is built for moving fast without compromising comfort. The inner tent offers generous internal space, measuring 220cm long and 130cm wide, ensuring comfort for two people and their gear. The tunnel tent structure also includes a convenient front entry and vestibule to securely stow gear.

Engineered for the demands of the New Zealand outdoors, this tent features:

  • Outer Fly: Durable material with a PU2000mm waterproof coating and taped seams for reliable protection.
  • Floor: A resilient floor with a PU3000mm waterproof rating to handle ground moisture.
  • Ventilation: Extra vents at the head and foot of the tent minimise condensation and maximise airflow.

The tunnel tent design is incredibly easy to pitch using a straightforward pole-in-grommet system that requires staking to stand. For warm, clear nights, the outer fly can be easily rolled up and secured, allowing you to enjoy a night under the stars in the fully enclosed mesh inner—a versatile feature often sought after in lightweight camping gear.
