Composite Developments (NZ) Ltd was founded by husband and wife team, Marty and Sue Johanson, alongside U.S.A. based partner Richard Kantner in 1981. Fuelled by a love for fishing and the outdoors, they began as a fishing rod and blank manufacturer. Today, Composite Developments (NZ) Ltd not only produces some of the finest fishing rods to a global customer base, but is also the proud New Zealand distributor of select international fishing and hunting brands including; Okuma, Savage Gear, Pakula, Perfect Image and many more.
